Stable API
Health, jobs, customers, installations, workload summaries and recent audits sit behind one versioned local REST surface.
Case 03 / Operations platform / 2026
A private localhost-first bridge for approved ShopVOX workflows, designed around controlled actions, persistent operational context and replaceable connection adapters.
The brief
The gateway gives local tools a stable interface to jobs, customers, installations and related workflows without embedding guessed vendor behavior into the application. Connection details remain behind explicit, replaceable adapters.
Architecture
Health, jobs, customers, installations, workload summaries and recent audits sit behind one versioned local REST surface.
Status changes require an allowlisted value, explicit confirmation, a reason and an optimistic current-status check.
Mock, configurable official-API and limited browser paths keep vendor-specific behavior separate from application routes.
The gateway generates a private key and encrypts configured API tokens with AES-256-GCM for local storage.
The dashboard organizes jobs, installations, tasks, quotes, sales orders, assets and read-only invoice surfaces.
Origin restrictions, endpoint allowlists, validation, rate limits, redacted logs and body limits constrain the local service.
The credential-free mock adapter is the verified demonstration mode shown here. Live ShopVOX account access depends on the customer’s plan, official documentation, credentials and one-time configuration. Browser mode is intentionally limited, and destructive or financial writes remain disabled.
